Dave Rheaume is an award winning Toronto based artist who specializes in archival winter and vintage urban scenes. His original art showcases some of the most familiar places in Toronto and other areas he has travelled to.
Dave is a self taught artist of Metis heritage. For thirty years he worked as a Television Director and Editor, but from an early age he had a passion for art. His film-making background shows through in his paintings, with their sense of story, composition and lighting.
In addition to being an artist, Dave is also a teacher, curator of shows, a lecturer, and a book illustrator.
Several of his paintings have sold to private collectors in Canada, the U.S. and Europe. In addition to many group and private shows, he has exhibited at the McMichael Autumn Art Show, the Buckhorn Fine Art Show, and the Ottawa Art Expo. He is featured as an “Artist to Collect” in the winter 2014 issue of Arabella Magazine.
Dave Rheaume’s artwork is very popular. We have added some more of his original artwork for purchase at The Gallery Upstairs in Milton, Ontario.
