Bert Kloezeman ( 1921 – 1987) was born in the Netherlands and after his studies he moved to Canada and became a teacher and painter.

Bert Kloezeman was a teacher of art history and oil painting in Woodstock, Ontario. Kloezeman then moved to London, Ontario and became a teacher at Beal Art School where he taught printmaking, oil and acrylic painting.

Many exhibitions of Kloezeman’s artwork includes oil paintings, acrylic paintings, chalk, pastel and charcoal drawings, as well as water colours of still life, landscape and portraits from his country.  Inspired by many features of Canadian life.
